Welcome

Due from complications with Diabetes, Julia became a double amputee over the course of 5 years.  She, however, never gave up on both walking upright and being able to drive her car just like everyone else did. Through the assistance of prosthetics and hand vehicle controls on her car, she accomplished both of her passions. She dedicated her free time to visiting new amputee's so she could just be an understanding ear to listen to, or a role model for them to seek their own passions. This website was created in her loving memory to assist in carrying out what she started.  We hope that it will offer you some hope and guidance in your own journey.
